Crushed Stone
Crushed stone, is a type of construction aggregate and is produced by mining a suitable rock deposit and breaking the removed rock down to the desired size using crushers.
Sieved Sand
Before the mineral soil can be sieved, aggregates and organic matter must be broken down and removed. Refined, and separated from pebbles and stones. This type of sand is mostly used in laying bricks, stones, or blocks, thus making it perfect for patio construction.
Washed Sand
Washed grit, sometimes otherwise known as sharp sand, features larger pieces of aggregate that are jagged into shape. It is effective for mixing concrete, floor screed, and for making a tough (but less workable) mortar, which makes it good for block paving and flag stones.
